COVID-19 Operating Procedures – August 2020
Cooper Autoworks has implemented some changes to our operations in response to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. We are taking a contactless approach to vehicle service and used car sales. Click below to find out more.
Contactless Repair Service and Used Car Sales
Our goal is to operate with the least amount of person-to-person contact that is necessary to continue conducting business. This allows us to better protect our employees and our customers. All service work will be drop off only. All car sales will be done electronically with the exception of required signatures on documents and titles. All payments will be done through electronic invoicing.
Dropping Off Vehicles
All service work will be drop off only. We will not be providing accommodations for customers to wait for repairs. Please plan to arrange for drop off your vehicle for all service and repair work.
Please call ahead to schedule a drop off so that we may plan to have your vehicle looked at in a prompt manner.
When dropping off your vehicle please use the key drop box located on the north door and give us a call to let us know the vehicle has been dropped off.
Payment and Pick Up
All payments will need to be made electronically to allow us to continue operating safely. Alternate payment methods may be arranged but please plan to pay electronically if possible. An electronic invoice can be sent to an email address or cell phone number and will need to be paid before arriving to pick up the vehicle. Once payment has been submitted please call to schedule a pick up time.
Prior to the scheduled pick up time your vehicle will be parked in the customer pick up area. We will disinfect all the surfaces that we touched during the service. Please call the office when you arrive to get your keys.
If you have any questions at the time of pick up please call the office and someone will assist you.
Used Car Viewing
All of our used vehicle inventory will be available for in person viewing. Our selection of used vehicles will be on display in front of the shop to allow customers to inspect the vehicles. When arriving to view a used vehicle please practice social distancing in the event that there are other customers on site. Face masks must be worn while inspecting the vehicles.
Vehicles will be sanitized daily, however please take proper precautions when viewing a vehicle as we will not be sanitizing each vehicle after each viewing.
Test drives will be allowed. If you wish to test drive a vehicle you will need to call the office. We will need make a copy of your driver’s license and proof of insurance. At that time we will provide you with a key to the vehicle. Once you have completed the test drive please park the vehicle in the same spot you left from and return the keys to the office.
